With 30 years of experience in the rental industry, Wes has been a driving force in providing top-tier rental solutions across North Alabama. In 2017, he recognized a need for reliable car and van rentals in the region and took action—launching what is now McCurry Van & Car Rental.

Thanks to Wes’s leadership and vision, the company has grown rapidly. As of 2024, McCurry Van & Car Rental operates six locations across Athens, Cullman, Muscle Shoals, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, and Murfreesboro, TN. His dedication to exceptional service and community-focused business practices has made McCurry a trusted name in the industry.

Kolter Lindsay – Branch Manager, Cullman Location

Kolter has been an integral part of the McCurry Van & Car Rental team for several years, bringing dedication, expertise, and a passion for customer service. A lifelong resident of Athens, Alabama, he now leads our Cullman location as Branch Manager, ensuring every customer receives the best rental experience possible.

A graduate of Athens High School, Kolter went on to earn a degree in Business Management from Wallace State Community College. His extensive knowledge of rental inventory, pricing, and availability allows him to provide tailored solutions for each customer. Whether assisting at the front desk, managing reservations, or processing payments, Kolter’s hands-on approach guarantees top-tier service.

Carrie Hudson - District Manager

Carrie Hudson – Area Manager

Carrie has been a valued member of the McCurry Van & Car Rental team since 2021, bringing experience, dedication, and exceptional customer service to our company. Originally from Greenville, AL, she has called Athens home for over 30 years. A graduate of Clements High School, Carrie’s local knowledge and leadership make her an essential part of our team.

As Area Manager, Carrie oversees operations at our Muscle Shoals, Cullman, and Tuscaloosa locations, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction. Her expertise in vehicle inventory, pricing, and availability helps customers find the perfect rental solution while keeping our locations running smoothly.

When she’s not at work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her children and riding horses. Whether she’s assisting customers at the front desk, processing payments, or managing reservations, her dedication and friendly demeanor make her one of our most beloved team members.

Gary Stewart – Outside Sales

Gary has been an invaluable part of the McCurry Van & Car Rental team since 2016, contributing over nine years of dedicated service to our company. With more than 15 years of experience in sales and a deep-rooted knowledge of the auto industry, he plays a key role in driving growth and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

As our Sales & Marketing / Outside Sales Specialist, Gary is often on the road across North Alabama, assisting businesses with their rental needs and promoting McCurry Van & Car Rental within the community. His expertise in business-to-business leasing and vendor partnerships allows him to provide customized solutions that help companies operate smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys coaching, cheering on Alabama football, and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
